I've had my fair share of bad luck over the years, but I've never felt such loss. Over the last several months, my best friend became ill and with his recent passing, I was devastated. Despite a wonderful team of vets trying to help, it was of no use. He has always played a part in my work and will be greatly missed, my very best friend.

I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things, as I'm trying to find as many distractions as possible. With that, I truly appreciate the comments and emails I've gotten. They keep me inspired. To tie this into a more artistic sense, here is a piece that started as a drawing about a year ago, and needed to be swept off the desktop.
